Our facilities


To obtain a high quality wine certain factors are fundamental – excellent lands, fabulous grapes and an expert elaboration process. We tend our vines with loving care and pay great attention to the elaboration process which is later evident in our wines.
WINE MAKING FACILITY
The winery has a building for elaborating the wine in stainless steel and concrete tanks. All our tanks are temperature controlled and hold 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000 litres. We also have a small laboratory where we can control the entire process from vine to the finished product.
BARREL ROOM
We have dedicated an area of our winery to the important process of ageing the wine. We have two storerooms to keep our barrels at a temperature of between 1-14ºC and with a humidity of 80%. The barrels store either 500 litres or 225 litres. They are made of French Oak. Given the temperature and humidity, these warehouse provide a perfect environment for storing the barrels and maximising the flavours of the wine.
AGEING ROOM
The wine is left to age in the bottle in our new modern bottle room which boasts of the latest technology to control the temperature and humidity. It is acclimatised at 12-16ºC with a humidity of 55-65ºC.
BOTTLING AND LABELLING
We have a warehouse used exclusively for bottling and labelling our wines. This is an important part of the process at Finca Cardaba as it is the last step the wine takes between us and you the consumer.
