A climate marked by a very low temperature and a sharp contrast between day and night, particularly significant during the ripening of the grapes, creates a tough skin and strong, resulting in wines full of color, structure and caste.

The Vineyards

Sancha Vine Winery and Vineyards owns 30 acres, located in the Payment Card, where our vineyards have a height of 830m. and a southwest direction, excellent for growing grapes because of their high exposure to the sun.

We know that to produce top quality wines from grapes that we own and a good variety that is adapted to the climate of the area to get their perfect adaptation to calcareous clay soil and extract the full potential of the fruit.


The planting of vines, whose beginning dates back to 1997, is divided varieties such as Tempranillo, variety that covers 90% of vineyards and other exotic varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, which occupies 7% of the plantation, and Merlot with 3% of all vineyards are grown on the farm.
Of which 70% is planted in espalier and 30% glass.

Landscape

The Card Box is in Pecharromán falling after Valtiendas. Of the 80 ha. which owns the property, 30 are devoted to growing grapes.

Finca CARD is roughly equidistant from three towns each belonging to a Spanish Province: Aranda de Duero (Burgos), Peñafiel (Valladolid) and Cantalejo (Segovia). Situated in a valley, you will not be currency to be part of it almost since its hillock as the eye in the vast central plateau.

This area is where the province are the towns that best define what segoviano. People are fully integrated into a landscape that surrounds the semiderruidas walls and even houses rotting walls and roof skater, appear to be, as the thistles, like singing, ever since.
